Monte Jade-Mid Atlantic invites you and your friends to a very special 2008 award dinner banquet and ceremony 
honoring Nobel Laureate Dr. Yuan-Tseh Lee, President of Taiwan Academia Sinica, 1994-2006, 
Dr. Solomon Lu, Professor of Ophthalmology and Trustee, Temple University, and 
Mrs. Betty Foo, President of Ding-Hao Mainline Chinese School. 

Dr. Yuan-Tseh Lee will be giving a presentation entitled "Science and Education in Taiwan" after the award ceremony. 

This very special event will take place starting 6:30 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2008 
at the 2nd Floor of Ocean City Restaurant (234 N 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, 215-829-0688). 


Advanced registration is required for dinner and ceremony.  
Cost is $35 per person via online (www.mjma.org). Student is $20 per person. Table reservation for 10 ($350 per table) is available

On site registration will be $45 per person, subject to space availability.

費城大西洋玉山協會竭誠邀請您來參與授獎晚宴並嚀聽李遠哲博士演講. 
曾任台灣中央研究院院長也是諾貝爾獎得主的李遠哲博士, 將接受大西洋玉山協會贈予的自由獎, 以表彰他對台灣科學研究和教育改制的貢獻. 
授獎後, 他將以 “台灣的科學和教育] 為主題發表演說. 
晚宴上, 同時接受表揚的有天普大學眼科教授 Dr. Solomon Luo. 他將獲玉山協會贈予的終身成就獎. 還有明德中文學校校長張紀渝女士, 
她也將獲玉山協會贈予的社區服務獎.
